Sannio, onis, a dysarde in a playe or disguysynge:also he which in countenaunce, gesture, and maners is a foole.
Sannio, onis, m. g. He which laughing greatly, and writhing all the partes of the bodie doth mocke one, and with such a foolish gesture expresing other mens manners, maketh himselfe ridiculous to all: also the foole or dissard in a play, a gester, a derider, & mocker of other: a flouter, a frumper.
