    Cortina, ae, f. g. Plin. A diers vatte, a panne, cauldron, or kettle: the table from which Apollo gaue answere: Cato taketh it for a vessel out of which oyle runneth. Also a curtayne, and the couered place in a stage, whence the players come out.
