    ANAPESTIC VERSE: Anapestick Verse (anapaesticum) or Aristophanick, commonly used in Tragedies, hath 3 feet, an Anapaest, a Dactyle and a Spondee, which are used in all parts of the verse indifferently, as, Castos sequitur mala paupertas. Vitioque potens regnat adulter.
